Regional Manager/Social Worker Position Available (ADASA Northwest Regional Office)

We are opening our 9th regional office in Northwest province with the regional head office based in Potchefstroom. TAKE NOTE. There are three positions available: Northwest Regional Manager/Social Worker, Office Administrator and a Social Auxiliary Worker.

Northwest Regional Manager/Social Worker (Half-day position):
Requirements:
- Social Worker with 6+ years of experience in elderly care, specialising in Dementia and Alzheimer’s.
- Passion for elderly and dementia patients.
- Ability to manage & supervise Social Auxiliary workers, community workers, volunteers, and support group leaders.
- Proof of SACSSP registration for 2025.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for communication with patients, families, multidisciplinary teams, and corporate stakeholders.
- Assertive, well-organized, and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently in the Northwest region with support from the National Office.
- Flexible and open to change.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct dementia training and talks.
- Willingness to travel for work.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Work effectively under pressure.
- Business management skills preferred.
- Strong relationship-building, networking, and fundraising skills advantageous.
- Proactive approach to tasks.
