Vacancy: Western Cape Regional Manager/Social Worker
Requirements:
- Social Worker with 6+ years of experience in elderly care, specialising in Dementia and Alzheimer’s.
- Passion for elderly and people living with dementia.
- Ability to manage & supervise Social Auxiliary workers, community workers, volunteers, and support group leaders.
- Proof of SACSSP registration for 2026.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for communication with caregivers of people living with dementia, families, multidisciplinary teams, and corporate stakeholders.
- Positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently in the Western Cape region with support from the National Office.
- Flexible and open to change.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct dementia training and talks.
- Willingness to travel for work.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Work effectively under pressure.
- Business management skills preferred.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
- Proactive approach to tasks.
Additional Skills Required:
- Proposal writing.
- Fundraising experience.
- Content creation for social media platforms.
- Coordination of donations, community projects, and sponsors.
- Effective internal and external communication.
- Strong network with cultural, social, and business stakeholders.
